CNPJ on Webites

The CNPJ data are public and can be consulted by anyone interested in the Internal Revenue Service website.

Some companies may make this data available on open sites, which do not require code entry or the CNPJ number, making it easier for companies and their partners to be discovered.

While not sensitive or confidential information, some people may feel uncomfortable with personal information being exposed tied to the company.

One of these data is the company administrator's email account.

When you register with the IRS, give preference to using an email that will be used only for business purposes, ideally, register a domain and create a specific account for it, for example: cnpj@mycompany.com. br.

So, avoid exposing email from partners or employees directly, and create specific rules in email boxes to handle incoming emails, which prevents most frauds.
