Email on Social Networks

Your email was located on a social network, such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram.

Although not an imminent danger, it may be useful for hackers to send targeted emails to get more data, a technique called Social Engineering.

We suggest accessing your profile on the Social Network where it was located and enabling its privacy options.

Also, avoid placing your email in comments and posts, some scams on Social Networks consist of asking to put your personal data such as email and phone in the comments to participate in raffles or receive a certain document.

These data can be accessed, not only by who made the promotion, but by anyone registered in the same Social Network.

If you have already done so, we suggest returning to the comment and deleting the personal data.

Stay alert and suspicious of possible scams received by email or phone.
